Hope you’re well?
Yes, I’m back with another blog and it’s a What’s New post. Yes, I popped into my local Superdrug store to check out and browse the store, where I picked up a couple of skincare products. They are listed below.
1. Simple Cleansing Oil
I have been eyeing this product for quite sometime now simply because it’s said to be made with 100% natural grape seed oil and enriched with vitamin A & E to dissolve impurities and remove makeup. Definitely going to try this out and provide a review on this for ya’ll!
2. Simple Kind to Skin light Moisturiser
Having used this product in the past, I knew I had to pick this up, essentially a light moisturiser ideally used on the face and neck area. Love that it is exactly as it states, it is indeed a light moisturiser. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
3. Rimmel Super Gel Nail Polish Top Coat and other nail polish
Obviously, as we are still in Winter seasons I wanted to get colours which compliment the season. I picked up one Rimmel Super Gel Nail Top Coat & Two basic gel varnish in midnight blue and purple. Obviously plan to be rocking these colours through and through.
4. Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Facial Scrub
Yet to try this product but I’ve heard some amazing things about it. It is said to remove dead skin cells, dirt and impurities. It is also said to reduce blackheads and blemishes. Hmm.
5. Hair removal wax strips
Ouch that hurts! Yes that’s right I picked up a couple of wax strips just to ensure that my legs, face, underarm and anywhere else where hair may grow is waxed clean off. I picked up these wax strips for 0.99p.
6. Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Foaming Cleanser
Again, part of the Simple family, picked this up as a tester.
7. Garnier SkinActive Charcoal Blackhead
I know this product is for oily spot prone skin but I’ve seen and used this product as my sister has been using this product also. I’ve used this product first hand it does tend to be messy but based on the results I’ve seen it does wonders for my skin. Which is why I’ve decided to pick one up for myself.
8. Garnier Pure Active Deep Pore Wash
Again, this is a product I’d seen with my sister. Heard it works to cleanse, banish spots and fade marks. This product also contains 2% salicylic acid and after speaking to the lady at the Superdrug store, this is great for dry skin. Another thing that sets this product apart is the fact that it contains blueberry extracts and charcoal, again products which will help my skin to remain beautiful and healthy.
Please note I did do my own in depth research into each product before purchasing and these are products that I feel will work well for my skin. I suffer from dry/combination skin, if you haven’t read my blog post on knowing your skin type and why it is important please click here.
Another thing before I close this blog although I do currently have a skincare routine which I do every morning and night, I’m always open to try new products.
But have you used any of these products before? If so, how did you find them? Please feel free to share below.
But thank you for reading and I hope to see you soon in my next blog post.
