Hope you’re all well, and having a lovely week?
I’ve decided to add a new segment to my blog, ‘What’s New’ featuring all the new things that I’ve purchased.
But if you suffer from dry, flaky skin (especially in the winter) like me, you’ll know finding the right Cream/moisturiser may be some what of a task. If you don’t know your skin type, whether it’s dry/combination like me, or oily you can read the blog post here to help you.
With me being the skincare junky that I am (lol I can’t help it) I’m constantly trying new things to help improve my skin.
Anyways I popped into my local beauty supply store recently and came across a Vitamin E Cream by Xpel Body Care cream.
I’ve read a lot about Vitamin E and how awesome it can be for the body. Some of the benefits and key facts include:
- Vitamin E Oil is both a nutrient and antioxidant.
- Helps to rejuvenate the skin and health as well as restore moisture.
- Nourishes the skin and helps to make the nerves stronger.
- Helps to protect the skin from pollution and premature ageing.
Well.. you get it. Vitamin E is amazing for dry, flaky skin.
Well let’s get straight into the review!
This product is said to have been “specially formulated to help soothe and moisture dry, irritated skin helping to leave it feeling soft and hydrated”.
As I’ve only been using this product for a couple of weeks I’m unsure whether this is 100% true – but I will provide another full review at the end of the month on this product.
Consistency: Like any other cream the consistency of this product is rather thick, a little does go a long way. But once rubbed into the skin it absorbs well. Allowing the skin to feel moisturised and well-nourished.
Smell: Like most creams this product does have a light smell which can be smelt once opened. The smell is like an orange scent, which I absolutely love.
Packaging: Personally, because of the consistency this product would’ve been better if it came in a pump for obvious hygienic reasons. But in terms of the amount inside, it’s great stuff.
Price: This product retailed for 99p in my local beauty supply store. But can also be purchased here.
Overall verdict: As I’ve only been using this product for a couple of weeks, I am unable to provide an overall verdict but so far I’m really loving the product. The smell woooaaaahh.
Hope you enjoyed this blog post and I will be back in a couple of weeks with a more in depth review.
Have a great one!
