A couple of weeks ago I received these products to try out and review, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to start promoting stuff that I personally hadn’t bought.
But I tried the product for weeks and I didn’t want to be selfish lol so I thought I’d share it with you all. So I guess this is an #ad lol.
Pantene Gold Series is a line of products made for women with textured hair,
finally. The formulas in the collection were created by 11 black Ph.D. scientists, over 40 hairstylists, and a dermatologist. They visited over four countries including Nigeria and Brazil, to test each product on over 3000 women with textured hair.
What does this series contain?
- Moisture Boost Shampoo
- Hydrating Butter Creme
- Leave-on detangling milk
- Hydrating Co-Wash
- Moisture Boost Conditioner
- Curl Defining Pudding
- Intense Hydrating Oil
- Repairing Hair Mask
So just about everything is covered in this range.
So what do I think of it?
Well it’s better late than never, ayyy! I’m honestly so glad that Pantene launched these products and from using it in my last wash I can definitely see the hype around it. These products also carry a light therapeutic smell – believe me I’m not just saying this because it’s an #ad.
The two products which really stood out to me in this range was the Curl Defining Pudding (CuRL dEfinINg PUdDing) and the Intense Hydrating Oil (iNtenSE hYdraTIng PUdDing) the reason why these products stood out to me is because I don’t believe it does what it says. I’m here to be real and honest so..
The Curl Defining Pudding is supposed to define the curls, I assume? I left it in my hair for a couple of hours to get the full effect but honestly other than it smelling nicer and making my hair softer I didn’t really see that much of a difference tbh.
Along with the Intense Hydrating Pudding, uh huh. I’m starting to think I have a phobia of products/oils/serums which are thick in consistency. This is exactly what this product is. It left my hair feeling greasy but dry at the same time. It just left that heavy feeling on my scalp/hair.
Other than the two products mentioned above, I would definitely recommend this range.
Now when it comes to pricing you know I’m all about affordability and is it worth it?! The pricing in this range varies from £1.99 to £7.99, depending on what you decide to get. I would say for the pricing it’s definitely, 100% worth it.
Nothing else really much to say but..
