Back with another skincare post.
When it comes to winter us dry/dull skin babes will search high and low for products which keeps our skin looking and feeling moisturised but also leaving us with a natural glow.
The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask – well what is it?

Inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, this 100% vegan tingling clay mask is infused with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil. - Tingling charcoal clay mask
- Enriched with Community Trade tea tree oil from Kenya
- Packed with bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills and green tea leaves from Japan
So I’ve been wanting to try The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Mask for ages but after seeing one of my favourite beauty/skincare bloggers on Instagram, Uche Natori use it I was like.. yeah I need that (influencers, ayyy!) – now I’ve bought it, tried it and I’m ready to review it.
How is the mask applied/removed?
To apply this mask I use a brush slowly brushing on a coat and leaving the mask to dry, be warned when dried up it does become hardened. To remove I simply use a face towel/flannel to remove. As the mask is hard I do wet the face towel/flannel slightly, also ensuring that I massage the little bead parts into my skin when removing.
Is this mask for me?
This product is said to be for all skin types, but I can only speak on my skin type which is dry/dehydrated.
Personally I like the way this mask sits on my skin, I like the way it glides on, the way it feels when hardening, and how my skin feels once it’s been wiped off.
I feel like this product is suitable for my dry/dehydrated skinned babes. Not even just that the fact that this product has bamboo charcoals in it to which helps to treat eczema, psoriasis & dry cracked skin.
Price – (go on put me out my misery..)
Now the price of The Body Shop Himalayan Glow Mask isn’t on the cheapest side with the product retailing for £17.. now that’s quite a lot for a mask in my opinion.
Would I recommend?
Now honestly.. honestly.. if you’re looking to simply try this product (like me) I would suggest going in for a standard sample first or going into the store to try it out first.
Although I would recommend this product I would say you have to be certain that you want to purchase it as the price is not a joke £17?!
But for me it was definitely worth the investment I love the way my skin feels hydrated and refreshed once I’ve wiped it off.
Let me know down below if you’ve tried this product? If so what are your thoughts.
See you all in my next post.
