Self-Isolation & Skincare: Working From Home Edition.

Hey lovelies,

Hope you’re well? Keeping sane in this crisis? No matter where you are.

Just want to start by giving a massive shoutout to the companies that had a well thought-out, contingency plan in place for their workers.

Just thought I’d drop another blog post to offer tips for those of us, such as myself, who are working from home – just a couple tips and tricks with skincare.

Use SPF!

Simply put just because your working from home, doesn’t mean it’s not important to protect our skin from UV Rays. Using SPF whether you plan on staying indoors or whether you pop to the shop is very important especially in keeping your skin looking fresh.

Cleanse! Cleanse! Cleanse!

The importance of washing your skin everyday, even when you’re not wearing makeup is inevitable. Washing away any dirt or dust and moisturising, whether you’re skin is dry or oily, is common sense, really.

Water – drink some.

The importance of drinking water is a necessity – so whilst working from home be sure to drink plenty. Drinking water isn’t only great for keeping our cells nourished but it’s also good for the skin (well duhh!). Be sure to have a bottle or glass handy.

These are the three top tips for keeping skincare sane in this current pandemic.

Honestly do hope you all are keeping well with this virus and you and your loved ones are all well and healthy.

We’ll all come out of this stronger!

Self Isolation: Get right with your skincare!

Hey lovelies,

Yes after about three months, I am back!

After deciding to leave a very toxic job earlier this month, I’ve decided to return back to what I enjoy doing – blogging.

But yes, through all this pandemic, I have found another more understanding and challenging job, which offers support, transparency and room for growth (this is the basic that a company should offer – SO DO NOT SETTLE, EVER). I would also like to point out that I’ve returned to Law School (Part Time).

Update done.

But with all of this pandemic, with Covid-19 happening across the world, which is honestly too sad, just thought I’d provide some content to those of us who are currently indoors, self isolating.

Obviously I’m not suggesting people should step outside of their house to purchase these products. No, not with the current situation happening in the world.

But if you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to get right with skincare!

I’ve been trying out some new products whilst I was away – I will list the top 5 products below and review some of them hopefully in the near future.

Pixi Glow Tonic – Exfoliating Toner

I’ve already done a review on this product but just wanted to reiterate that this product is the bomb – literally.

Super Facialist Vitamin C Brightening Scrub

Began using this product last year and honestly I haven’t looked back since. This product follows me everywhere.

SuperFacialist Vitamin C Cleansing Oil

At this point the SuperFacialist products may aswell take all my coins because… Honestly.

Vitamin E Hydration Mist

Don’t underestimate the Vitamin E range at Superdrug believe me when I say it’s amazing for the skin.

Vitamin E Moisturising Eye Cream

Last but not least.. this little bad boy.. amazing on dry skin and amazing for reducing dark circles on the under eye.

Honestly, this was just a little introduction to let you know I’m back and I’m here to stay. Didn’t want to do anything dramatic but I hope you enjoyed it.

Let me know below what you’d like to see more of.
